Rocky island located in the biggest bay in Europe, the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey, rightly named “The Marvel of the Western World” is still one of the most famous pilgrimage centres since the Middle Ages and recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

Normandy motorway to reach the Mont Saint Michel bay.                         
Stop in a Norman village "Beuvron sur Auge" and  free time.
Stop at 12.00 AM for lunch at Restaurant Relais St Michel (modern, refined decor with an excellent view of the Mont-Saint-Michel monument).
Then, ascension to the monument (by the ramparts or by the village) as far as the Abbey is located on the top.
Our guided visit covers the interior of the Abbey. Free time then for a walk in the village. Departure from Mont St Michel around 4.30PM. Return to Paris around 9.45 PM.

thank you to Cityrama for this excursion. It was exactly what we were expecting. The lunch was delicious with wonderful views of the island. The tour was well paced and the tour guide was very informative in telling us everything about the history of the island. We also had plenty of time to explore and enjoy our visit. Thank you.

Outstanding venue in spite of the detour and loss of some time due to the weather conditions.
Restaurant at the Mt. St. Michel venue not so good as expected for such a Hotel. Drivers very competent and friendly.
I would certainly recommend your company.

we enjoyed very much the tour. Thank you. our excursion was enriched by the pleasand guide by Ms belle.The only thing that we didn't enjoy was the lunch. we cannot say we were satisdied by the dishes and service at the resaturant. we understand our group was consisted by many people but we prefered to have the lunch freely maybe in the arcade of mon sant michel. Though, we were very lucky to have nice explanation of mont saint michel and also we appreciate that we could enjoy the beautiful schenary on the way back specially, the effel tower. Muchas gracias por todo..

It is a wonderful excursion. The time planned for the trip is excellent, the resource (a necklace receiver for individual earplugs) is amazing and the explanations on sight are accurate and clear.
There were a couple of negatives though:
First thing on the day, all passengers were accomodated in the wrong buses. The guides were all over the buses re-arranging people and telling us to move to another bus.
When we got there, the guide told me she didn't have enough cards/receivers for English and my wife and I were going to be given cards for a guide in spanish. She tried to convince me I had signed for spanish. (!!!)

After I made myself clear that I was sure (and she should also be) that I had signed for English guidance, she gave us the right card/receiver. (and there was enough for everybody in the end, so I have no idea why she thought otherwise) Anyway...
Apart from that, It was a wonderful day and a wonderful trip! Congratulations!

It was a very pleasant excursion. The place is wonderful! The guide in portuguese was very helpfull and kind. The only minus was the lunch at the restaurant near the Mount, already included in the price. The portions were too small and it tasted lixe plastic. It was obviously made for tourists.

My husband and I were very satisfied with all three tours we took - they were well organized, the buses were very comfortable, and the guides were knowledgeable. We will definitely take other Cityrama excursions on our next trip to Paris.

I had a great time on the tour to Mont St. Michel! The tour guide was very knowledgable and the bus made it very convenient. My only complaint was the lunch provided...it was pretty gross. No one at my table enjoyed their food. The omelet was raw and tasteless.

in my opinion, we have only a little problem, because the guide have to do the visit to the abadia in 2 languages (portuguese and english), and we spend the double of the time to do the visit. I have choose the saturday because i think that the visit would be only in portuguese.
I would like to spend more time at the village, that is very charming.
But the guide was very nice.

i really liked the trip and am glad i was able to go.
i wished the bus left an hour earlier or came back an hour later so we had more time at mont saint michel. i felt very rushed through the abbey by my tour guide and there wasn't time to go back through and explore it AND the rest of the town. also, my tour guide had a hard time climbing all of the stairs up to the abbey and kept stopping to catch her breath...which caused us to waste time.

It was the highlight of my trip to France. The bus was very nice, the tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough, the food at the restaurant was satisfactory and the view was extraordinary.

In general it was very good. The bus was excelent, drivers to, very nice trip. Instructions and timing were also perfect. Maybe the only thing that was not up to the level of the trip was the lunch at Relais Saint Michel, despite the beautiful view the food was not good and certainly not up to the french standards. This part dissapointed me and my wife.

In general very good experience, maybe improve luch.

The excursion was very nice, our portuguese guide was fantastic. However, we had quite few freetime to visit the monument by ourselves (only 1 hour). Hope this may be improved for future excursions.

Mont Saint Michel is wonderful, the tour guided inside of abbey was perfect and certainly add for my culture and knowledge.

I thought two negative aspects, the first one was the lunch and the drinks for the lunch, where I didn't like for the lunch and dessert and soft drinks were not included in the price (unfortunately needed to pay 5 Euros per Coke - too expensive). The second one was the bus for transportation, I'm tall and tought the seats uncomfortable with small space for the legs.

For the final balance, i'm satisfied with the place and guided tour but unsatisfied with external things (lunch, drinks and seat of the bus).

Nous avons pris la peine de choisir une journée pour la visite qui devait nous assurer un service en français et le matin même on nous a informé que nous n'aurions pas ce service en français. En plus en arrivant sur les lieux, nous avons été informé qu'il y avait grève et que nous ne pouvions donc pas visiter à l'intérieur. Je trouve que j'ai payé très cher pour le service que nous avons reçu.

We enjoyed the tours immensely but the attitude of the senior staff at the Paris office is appalling. The senior ladies in the Cityrama office are exceedingly rude. You say "Bonjour" to greet them and they do not even respond to you and cannot seem to make eye contact. I observed this being done to a number of passengers. The Cityrama office should secure staff who understand how to treat customers. I suggest you should do some mystery shopping to see how the services are managed.

I throughly enjoyed my trip to Mont St Michael. In fact this is my second time,The bus was very comfortable, your guides were exceptionally helpful and very informative. All in all I would rate is a 9.8/10 only becuase of the toilet situation. We had to query up a few times, perhaps there might be other venue you may have which are not so crowded.

Mas passamos mais tempo no ônibus do que no local.
Como estava frio e garoando, não demos muita importância ao fato, mas no verão convém aconselhar passeios de 2 dias aos turistas. É uma pena não ver a maré subir.

Muita confusão na hora do almoço. Acho que a excursão poderia ter a opção de deixar a opção do almoço por conta da escolha do turista e marcar o horário para o encontro.
Deveria também ter um identificador ( cor por exemplo ) para os turistas acharem com mais facilidade o guia e o grupo, assim como o ônibus.
No mais, o passeio foi ótimo, a guia era muito simpática e competente.

It was much better if we can have water or juices in the bus like the recepcionist explain to me two days before the excursions on the Cityrama place, but, for my surprise, doesn't have.
